Reading the Bible in One Year

During the darkest season in my life, I had isolated myself from the world. Yet, there was something prompting my heart to listen and read a Bible app introduced to me by my aunts. However, I was in a tug of war between satan and Jesus. One seeking to destroy me. The Other declaring the victory on the Cross. I went back and forth choosing drugs in one moment then followed that with a Bible read. Jesus’ relentless love for me prevailed.

The Lord blessed the Hardin family with a task. Brian Hardin and on occasion his wife Jill share the Word in a global podcast, the Daily Audio Bible. As a result, a community was birthed. Their daughter China has been commissioned by God to lead the Daily Audio Bible Chronological. The Holy Spirit has anointed Brian, Jill, and China with the wisdom, discernment, and knowledge to share daily snippets of the Living Word with commentaries that broadens an understanding of what it means to be in relationship with Jesus. Lastly, at the end of the podcast, Dabbers (community nickname) from all over the world call in asking for prayer, lifting up someone in prayer, sharing a praise report, or merely expressing their undeniable gratitude to be a part of this global campfire.

It was this podcast that God used to change my life and others within this community. As I intentionally chose to engage daily, the Holy Spirit began the process of sanctification, transforming my life. Today I’m a new woman. I’m not where I want to be but I’m certainly not where I used to be! Praise the Lord!
